A man and woman have been charged following an investigation into alleged drug trafficking in Truro, N.S. Truro Police Service says the Criminal Investigation Division began an undercover operation targeting drug trafficking in November 2025. During the investigation, police obtained search warrants for two properties in Truro. Police executed the warrants between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., on Thursday. “A search of a business on Willow Lane lead to the seizure of approximately 250 grams of cocaine,” reads a Facebook post by Truro Police Services. William Keagan Richardson, 29, was charged with drug trafficking offences. The second search warrant was executed at an apartment on Arthur Street and an unnamed 58-year-old woman was charged. Police say the search led to the seizure of items including cocaine, a digital scale and scoresheets. Richardson was remanded into custody and will appear in Truro provincial court on Friday. The woman is scheduled to appear in court in January. “The name of the female is not being released until her court appearance,” reads the post.
