Latest book from author Vernon Oickle follows ghost stories in Nova Scotia

Author Vernon Oickle chats about his new book, "Even More Ghost Stories of Nova Scotia."

“Even More Ghost Stories of Nova Scotia” is the latest book by author Vernon Oickle.

The book is part of a series written by Oickle, which includes “Ghost Stories of Nova Scotia” and “More Ghost Stories of Nova Scotia.”

The series of books are collections of ghost stories and paranormal events from across the province.

Oickle said he’s always had an interest in ghost stories.

“I grew up in rural Nova Scotia,” Oickle told CTV Your Morning’s Crystal Garrett. “My family was big into superstitions, ghosts and it was often a topic of conversation.”

Oickle said he’s had his own brush with paranormal events and when asked whether or not he believes in ghosts, he said “I don’t not believe.”

“I encourage people to keep an open mind,” he said.
