‘High-risk’ sex offender now living in Lower Sackville: N.S. RCMP

The Nova Scotia RCMP is warning the public about a convicted sex offender who has recently moved within the province.

Police say Gregory Ernest Last, 42, has relocated to Lower Sackville from Truro.

He is considered a “high-risk” offender and has convictions for the following:

• aggravated sexual assault
• sexual assault with a weapon
• assault with a weapon
• overcoming resistance by choking
• assault
• failure to comply

Police describe Last as being five-foot-10 and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

“This information is provided, under Section 8(2)(m) of the Privacy Act, to alert members of the public of Last’s presence in the community and is not intended to encourage any form of vigilante activity or other unreasonable conduct,” reads a news release from the RCMP.
