A popular tour company in Halifax has sold. Sean Buckland, one of the longest standing shareholders in Ambassatours Gray Line, will purchase the company from Dennis Campbell, who founded the company almost 40 years ago. “As founder and President/CEO, it has been one of the great privileges of my life to work alongside great people like yourselves,” Campbell said. “What began almost 40 years ago while I was still in high school has grown into something truly extraordinary.” Campbell said the growth of the company over the past four decades is a reflection of the strength of his team, including Buckland. “I am especially pleased that the next chapter will be led by someone who knows this company so well,” Campbell said. “Sean has been a valued part of Ambassatours Gray Line for 18 years now, and as a minority owner, has already played an important role in the company’s growth.” Campbell said he will remain involved in the business as an advisor to support Buckland for a few years. “With this remarkable team and Sean leading the next chapter, the future for Ambassatours Gray Line is incredibly bright,” he said.
