Halifax police investigating truck fire in Dartmouth

The Halifax Regional Police is investigating a truck fire on Highway 107 in Dartmouth, N.S., Friday morning.

Police and fire crews responded to the reported truck on fire near the Exit 12 offramp at Burnside Drive around 7 a.m.

“Witnesses reported seeing a group of people near the vehicle when the fire began,” a news release from police reads. “The group was seen leaving the scene and heading towards Bedford in a black Honda Civic.

“Police are looking to identify and speak to this group.”
