The price of diesel increased in Nova Scotia Saturday. The Nova Scotia Energy Board said it would use the interrupter mechanism to change the price of diesel oil at 12:01 a.m. due to “a significant shift in the market price.” The price of diesel increased by 10.5 cents per litre. The new price of diesel is 240.3 cents. This comes after a 9.8-cent increase in the price of diesel Friday. In Cape Breton, the price of diesel rose 10.6 cents to 242.3 cents per litre.
