A woman has been charged for alleged drug trafficking and weapons offences after police executed search warrants in Church Point, N.S. Meteghan RCMP Detachment, along with RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Southwest Nova Street Crime Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at a property on Patrice Road and another on Oakridge Road on Tuesday. Amanda Althea Smith, 47, was arrested at the residence on Patrice Road. “During the searches, investigators seized a quantity of cocaine, a digital scale, four firearms, ammunition, stolen property, and other items,” a release from RCMP said.
