A 41-year-old man is facing drugs and weapons charges after police responded to a driving complaint in Sydney, N.S. Cape Breton Regional Police (CBRP) says officers responded to the Esplanade around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A vehicle matching the description in the complaint was located in front of the Simon Hotel. “Officers spoke with the driver, noting signs of impairment and placed him under arrest, during which time they also located a large amount of cash in his possession, along with drugs [and] a knife inside the vehicle,” a release from CBRP reads.
