The body of a 59-year-old man was found after a house fire broke out in East Chezzetcook, N.S., Tuesday morning. RCMP officers and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency (HRFE) crews responded to a report of the structure fire in the 1600 block of East Chezzetcook Road around 7:30 a.m. The fire was contained to the home, and once HRFE extinguished it, the remains of the man were found inside. RCMP say the investigation is ongoing with HRFE and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service. “Our thoughts are with the man’s loved ones at this difficult time,” reads an RCMP news release from Tuesday.
