Upper Kent, N.B., man dies in motorcycle crash

A 47-year-old Upper Kent, N.B., man has died after a motorcycle crash in the community.

RCMP responded to a report of an “overdue traveller” Thursday around 4:50 a.m., according to an RCMP news release.

When they got to the area, officers found the driver of a motorcycle in the ditch along with the motorcycle.

RCMP say the driver died at the scene from his injuries.

Police believe the crash happened when the motorcycle, travelling northbound on a trail parallel to Route 105, lost control and landed in the ditch.

The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of the man’s death.
