Saint-Quentin man, 45, dies following single-vehicle crash: N.B. RCMP

A 45-year-old Saint-Quentin, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash.

RCMP officers responded to a report of a crash on Highway 17 in Kedgwick, N.B., around 3:15 a.m. Thursday.

“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries,” reads a news release from New Brunswick RCMP.

Police believe the vehicle crossed the centreline while travelling northbound on the highway and collided with the culvert on the other side of the road.

The New Brunswick Coroner’s office and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist are assisting with the investigation.

Police say an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
