Saint John police looking for man serving two-year sentence

The Saint John Police Force is looking for a man serving a two-year sentence who failed to return to a correctional centre earlier this week.

Police issued a warrant for Austin Inman after he failed to return to Parrtown Community Correctional Centre on Tuesday.

Inman, a third-time federal offender, is serving a two-year-and-one-day sentence for eights counts of theft under $5,000 and failure to comply with an undertaking, according to a police news release.

Inman is described as standing five-foot-five and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown and hair and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black and white track suit with black and white sneakers.

The public is warned not to approach Inman if they see him. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 506-648-3333, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
