Overnight parking ban declared for parts of Saint John

A temporary overnight parking ban has been declared for the south/central peninsula area of Saint John, N.B., to allow for snow removal.

No on-street parking will be allowed in the area between 11 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

The city says any vehicles left on the street during that time will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s risk and expense.

The Peters Street, Sydney Street (Service New Brunswick) and Vulcan Street parking lots will be cleared for residents who use on-street parking starting at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Peel Plaza Parking Garage also offers a $5 overnight parking rate on nights when a parking ban is declared.
