N.B. RCMP looking for video of Moncton-area crash that killed four people

The RCMP is looking for video footage after four people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Hon. Brenda Robertson Bridge between Moncton and Riverview, N.B., earlier this month.

Police responded to a reported collision involving a car and a tow truck on the bridge around 9:31 p.m. on Aug. 6, according to an RCMP news release.

Officers believe the car crossed the centre line and hit the oncoming tow truck. Both vehicles then caught on fire.

“The driver and the three passengers of the car died at the scene as a result of their injuries,” the release says. “Police are still awaiting autopsy results to confirm further details.”

The tow truck driver was not injured.
