N.B. RCMP looking for suspects, surveillance video after man assaulted in Moncton

Police are looking for three people after a man was assaulted and robbed in broad daylight in Moncton, N.B., last month.

Codiac Regional RCMP responded to the assault on Dominion Street around 11:30 a.m. on May 14.

“When police arrived at the scene, it was learned that a man was assaulted by three individuals who had since left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money,” said the RCMP in a news release Wednesday.

“The man suffered what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.”

Investigators are still looking for the suspects. One man was wearing green cargo pants. Another man was wearing jeans and black-and-white shoes. A description of the third person is not available.

Police say the investigation into the incident has been ongoing. They are asking people who live in the area and have outdoor surveillance cameras to check their recordings for any suspicious activity between 11 a.m. and noon on May 14.

They’re also asking anyone who was driving through the area during that time and has dashcam footage to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
