N.B. police seek public’s help locating man who went missing last year

Police in New Brunswick are continuing to search for a 48-year-old man who went missing last year.

David Alexander Mitchell was last seen on Sept. 9, 2024, at a residence on Whites Mountain Road, in White Mountain, N.B. Police say he was reported missing on Sept. 25, 2024.

Police describe Mitchell as six-foot-two, 200 pounds, with hazel eyes, grey hair and a grey goatee.

“Police have followed up on several leads to try to locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing,” reads a 2024 news release from the New Brunswick RCMP.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Mitchell’s whereabouts to contact Sussex RCMP at 506-433-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
