Missing Riverview, N.B., man found dead: RCMP

A Riverview, N.B., man who had not been seen for more than a week has been found dead.

The 36-year-old had been reported missing to police on Aug. 7, but RCMP said he had not been seen since the early hours of Aug. 2.

Police and search crews had been looking for the man in the Moncton area Friday.

RCMP did not provide further details Saturday, only saying the man had been located deceased.

“Our thoughts are with the man’s family, friends and community at this time,” said RCMP in a news release Saturday.
