The Saint John Police Force is seeking help from the public in finding a 35-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant. Officers were notified of a warrant issued for Edmond Babineau on Tuesday around 2:33 p.m. for allegedly violating the conditions of his statutory release. He is currently serving a sentence of three years, four months and five days for: Police describe Babineau as five-foot-eight and 225 pounds with brown hair, a beard and brown eyes. They say he was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, a dark ballcap and jeans. He has a tattoo of a lion on his throat and a tattoo on his forearm reading “Irish Fighter,” and a shark on his left forearm. He was reportedly last seen in Saint John, N.B., in the area of Carleton Street in a dark-coloured Mazda 5 van with a roof rack on Tuesday. Saint John police warn the public not to approach Babineau.
