Heavy police presence in Saint John neighbourhood

There was a heavy police presence in a Saint John, N.B., neighbourhood Thursday evening.

At least seven police cruisers were on scene at Taylor Avenue with multiple officers, with some seen carrying heavy firearms.

Saint John Police Force said they where responding to a report of a person armed with a weapon.

Officers arrested an individual during the investigation but they was later released without charges, police said.
