Fredericton man facing child pornography charges: N.B. RCMP

A 30-year-old Fredericton man is facing multiple child pornography-related charges following an investigation by RCMP.

New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit started the investigation in July 2024 after receiving information from the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.

On Sept. 24, 2024, police searched a home in Fredericton where they seized several electronic devices.

The force says Brady Matthew Worden was also arrested at the scene.

Worden was later released on conditions pending a future court appearance.

On Monday, he was charged with:

- possession of child pornography

- transmission of child pornography

- breach of his order of prohibition

Worden is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 25.
