How much did gas prices drop overnight in the Maritimes?

For the most part, Maritimers are paying a little less to fill up at the pumps Friday.

The price of gas decreased overnight on Prince Edward Island and in New Brunswick, while prices did not change in Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia

The minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area remains 178.7 cents per litre.

Diesel prices decreased slightly by 1.1 cents. The new minimum price is 211.2 cents per litre.

The minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is still 180.6 cents per litre in Cape Breton and the minimum price of diesel is now 213.2 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The price of gas on P.E.I. decreased by 3.4 cents. The new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is 186.8 cents per litre.

The minimum price of diesel decreased by 12.7 cents to 224.1 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 3.6 cents in New Brunswick. The maximum price is now 180.8 cents per litre.

The price of diesel increased by 1.9 cents to a new maximum of 225.0 cents per litre.
