Prices at the pumps increase in N.S., N.B. over the weekend

Prices at the pumps increased again in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick over the weekend. Here’s a look at current prices across the Maritimes as of Monday morning.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area did not change. The minimum price remains 174.4 cents per litre.

The price of diesel increased by 10.5 cents per litre on Saturday to a new minimum price of 240.3 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, the minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline remains 176.4 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel is now 242.3 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The price of regular gasoline on P.E.I. did not change over the weekend. The new minimum price remains at 186.6 cents per litre.

The minimum price for diesel did not change either, it remains 242.5 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 6.2 cents per litre on Sunday to a new maximum price of 182.0 cents per litre.

The price of diesel increased by 18.5 cents in total following increases on Saturday and Sunday. The new maximum price is 252.4 cents per litre.
