Megadeth to make two Maritime stops on farewell tour, joined by Anthrax and Exodus

Metal band Megadeth is headed for the Maritimes next year as part of their farewell tour.

The group is kicking off the tour in Canada and will play shows in Halifax at the Scotiabank Centre on March 3 and in Moncton at the Avenir Centre on March 4.

The Grammy-Award winning group is also scheduled to release their final studio album on Jan. 23.

“Concert-goers can expect to hear songs from the uncompromising metal titans’ extensive and prized body of work, along with tracks from the new album,” reads a news release from the band.

Megadeth will be joined by Anthrax and Exodus on their 12-city Canadian tour.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
