Local production of ‘Come From Away’ returns to New Brunswick stages

The popular musical “Come From Away” is returning to New Brunswick stages in September.

Call it the summer of “Come From Away,” as the popular musical is returning to New Brunswick stages in September.

The show, which follows residents of Gander, Newfoundland, as they help thousands of passengers on diverted planes on Sept. 11, 2001, will feature talent from across the province, led by Fredericton-born Broadway star Tony LePage.

The show will run at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton from Sept. 2 to 5 and at the Playhouse in Fredericton from Sept. 9 to 12, 2026, with additional dates currently being explored.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday at noon for both theatres.

Halifax, Charlottetown shows

Neptune Theatre and the Confederation Centre for the Arts will also bring “Come From Away” to Halifax and Charlottetown later this year.

The show will run in Halifax from March 31 to June 7, and in Charlottetown from July 2 to Sept. 26.
