Ethan Morneau

Ethan Morneau joined CTVNews.ca as a National Digital Producer in August 2025. Based in Toronto, he has a strong foundation in local news and a passion for covering human interest and feature stories. After nearly six years on Vancouver Island, Ethan is excited to return to his home province of Ontario. In Victoria, he worked as a digital news editor and multimedia journalist at CHEK News, following his role as senior reporter at Victoria Buzz. His first position on the Island was as reporter and afternoon anchor at Vista Radio, where he was awarded a prestigious Jack Webster fellowship. Born and raised in the Niagara region, Ethan is a proud graduate of Niagara College’s broadcasting program and also enrolled in Sheridan College’s bachelor of photography program, where he further developed his love for the craft. His early work in web and graphic design earned him a Readers’ Choice Award at just 20 years old. Ethan speaks English.
