Canadians joined a chorus of voices from all corners of the internet Tuesday, as they urged U.S. voters to make the "right" choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at the voting booth.

Most of the comments on Twitter were cautionary remarks to the U.S., with many forecasting disaster if Donald Trump should become the next president.

Others took a more humorous approach, as they asked America not to make the "stupid" choice.

Several Canadians also offered up their own jokes about the election.

A number of Twitter users from the U.K. mentioned that country's recent Brexit vote in their tweets, with one person saying: "We messed up Brexit but you're better than that. Please don't let it be Trump."

But amid all the anti-Trump commentary, there were also voices calling for his election.
