Winnipeg police have released photos of a suspect wanted in connection with a St. Vital home invasion in hopes the public can help identify her. Police say a woman went to a home in the 100 block of Alburg Drive on April 2 at around 8:45 a.m. posing as a police officer. Investigators told CTV News she pushed past the homeowner, trying to grab at an item in the front entryway. However, police say they didn’t get inside and no one was hurt. The suspect then drove off in a grey or silver Chevrolet Cobalt, which police say was joined by a second vehicle, a blue Hyundai Palisade. Police released photos of the alleged suspect and vehicles in hopes of identifying them. Anyone with information, including security, cell phone, or dashcam video, is asked to contact the major crimes unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
