Winnipeg’s Seth Jarvis added to men’s Olympic hockey roster

Another Manitoban is in the fold for the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Hockey Canada announced Thursday afternoon that Winnipeg’s Seth Jarvis will be joining the men’s hockey team, replacing Brayden Point, who is injured.

Jarvis is in his fifth season with the Carolina Hurricanes, tallying 25 goals and 18 assists so far this season.

He previously represented Canada during the 4 Nations Face-Off, playing in three games and grabbing one assist.

Jarvis joins fellow Manitobans Mark Stone and Travis Sanheim on the men’s side, while Jocelyne Larocque and Kati Tabin are the Manitoba representatives on the women’s national team.

The men’s first contest at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games will be on Feb. 12 against Czechia.
