Winnipeg restaurant selling furniture, equipment as closure nears

A Winnipeg restaurant is selling off its furniture, equipment and art as the business prepares to close its doors.

In a series of social media posts, Maxime’s Restaurant and Lounge announced it is selling its bar stools, dishwasher, lounge tables, dining chairs and numerous other items in late November.

Those who are interested are asked to submit an offer to [e-mail]. The email should include a description or photo of the item of interest, the amount of the offer and your contact information.

The restaurant added it will also work to make arrangements for anyone who would like to get a closer look at the items.

This sale comes over a month after the owners of Maxime’s announced the restaurant will be closing after 41 years. The restaurant’s land and building have been sold and they plan to close in the coming weeks.
