A Winnipeg man is dead following a collision with a semi-truck. According to police, Morris RCMP responded to an accident on Highway 75 on Saturday afternoon. The accident took place just south of St. Jean Baptiste in the RM of Montcalm. RCMP found the victim lying in the median ditch. There were also two semi-trucks stopped on the southbound lane. RCMP said one semi-truck was parked on the side of Highway 75 and its driver was on the highway. The driver was struck by the other semi-truck, which was travelling south. The 57-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not said why the deceased driver was outside of his vehicle. The other driver, a 33-year-old man who is also from Winnipeg, was uninjured. Morris RCMP are continuing to investigate.
