Santa Claus came to Winnipeg on Saturday. The Manitoba Hydro Santa Claus Parade took over downtown Winnipeg Saturday night, thrilling a crowd of thousands. More than 70 floats made their way down Portage Avenue, representing organizations such as the Salvation Army, the City of Winnipeg, the Winnipeg Police Service and KFC. There was significant representation from CFL teams in the parade, as Winnipeg hosts the Grey Cup on Saturday. If you missed the parade, an encore presentation will air on CTV Winnipeg in December.
