The Winnipeg police homicide unit has now made two arrests in conjunction with the death of a 42-year-old man. On Dec. 21, 2025, police officers were called to an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lydia Street. There, officers found a man with serious injuries. The man—since identified as 42-year-old Michael Allen Harrington—was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died from his injuries on Dec. 24. On Dec. 22, 27-year-old Conrad Jesse Fiddler was arrested for aggravated assault and detained in custody. On January 12, police obtained an arrest warrant for him and charges have been upgraded to manslaughter. On Jan. 8, 2026, the homicide unit also arrested 19-year-old Larry Walter Richard-Hall in connection with the investigation. Richard-Hall has now been charged with second-degree murder. Both men remain in custody, and charges have not been proven in court.
