A 17-year-old boy is dead following a rollover on a Manitoba highway over the weekend. According to RCMP, officers were called at 6:45 a.m. Sunday for a reported crash involving an SUV on Highway 405 near Lorette. RCMP say the SUV hit the ditch and flipped sometime overnight and it wasn’t noticed until the morning. When Mounties responded, they found a severely damaged SUV. The driver, a 17-year-old male from Dufresne, was found inside the vehicle, concealed by the extent of the damage to the SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
