St. James Bridge turnoff to Academy Road briefly closed Sunday due to flooding

Heavy rain on Sunday caused the temporary closure of a Winnipeg off-ramp.

The St. James Bridge turnoff to Academy Road is temporarily closed due to flooding.

In an email, the Winnipeg Police Service confirmed that a cadet unit is on scene, blocking off the southbound turnoff lane.

“A City of Winnipeg Works and Ops crew are also there working to solve the issue, and the road should be reopened shortly,” the email added.
