A Manitoba man missing since Canada Day has been found dead. According to RCMP, Jamie Gislason, 60, was last heard from on July 1, when he was supposed to attend Canada Day celebrations in Gimli, according to a news release. He was reported missing on Monday. Officers said his vehicle was found Monday on a property one mile east of Highway 8, on Road 139 N, in the RM of Bifrost, though an initial search for Gislason was not successful. RCMP said Gislason was found dead on Tuesday. A cause of death was not released. RCMP thanked the public for their assistance.
