Winnipeg police have arrested a man after they say he randomly stabbed someone in a wheelchair. On Friday, cops were called to the 400 block of Selkirk Avenue around 2 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. Police said a man in his 20s was in his wheelchair in a courtyard when a man he didn’t know came up and stabbed him. The man ran away but was arrested shortly after in the 100 block of Powers Street. The man in the wheelchair was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. A 38-year-old man has been charged with assault with a weapon and remains in custody. The charge hasn’t been tested in court.
