Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure reopened about 50 kilometres of Highway 75 after icy conditions forced its closure. The stretch from Morris to the Perimeter Highway was shut down at 3:10 p.m. Saturday because of ice-covered roads, the department said. About four hours later, officials announced the highway had reopened.
