Have you seen this man? RCMP searching for suspect in snow lodge door theft

Manitoba RCMP has issued an arrest warrant after a door was stolen from the Flin Flon Snow Lodge shortly after its grand opening.

According to police, the incident took place around 5 a.m. on Jan. 31 when a suspect entered the property and took the door from the lodge’s entrance. The suspect then drove away in a red Ford Bronco.

Information about the theft was then posted to social media, which led to RCMP receiving several tips.

Mounties continued to investigate and executed a search warrant at a home on Inlet Arm Road in Schist Lake on Feb. 2. During the search, police found two doors, including the one stolen from the lodge.

The owner of the property was not there at the time of the search.

Mounties have now issued a warrant of arrest for Paul McIntyre, 62. He has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

The charge has not been proven in court.
