Foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose body was found near a recreation centre in Winnipeg’s Elmwood neighbourhood on Tuesday, according to the Winnipeg Police Service. In an update on Friday, police said the man has been identified and his family has been notified. Officers said an autopsy will determine the cause of death, though foul play is not suspected. Police said they will not provide further information to protect the identity of the deceased and his family. CTV News previously reported that officers responded to the report of a medical incident in the 600 block of Bowman Avenue just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday. When officers got to the scene, a man was found dead.
