If you’re looking to buy a polo shirt or a lace camisole, you’re in luck: Abercrombie & Fitch is coming to Winnipeg. The iconic American retailer will be opening up at CF Polo Park. A development permit at 1485 Portage Avenue “for the relocation of an exterior door on the main floor of an existing commercial building” was issued to the brand by the city of Winnipeg on Jan. 6. A job posting for the store manager position has also popped up on multiple career websites. The addition of the store marks another notable tenant change for the shopping mall. On the same date, another permit requesting “interior alteration” for Japanese retailer Uniqlo was also issued. “Structural, mechanical and electrical work,” is being done as well. The permit description noted the famed store will be on the second floor. CTV News has reached out to CF Polo Park, who declined to comment, and Abercrombie & Fitch, for more information.
