A Windsor police officer won’t have the sexual assault acquittal appealed, after he was found not guilty in July.

A Windsor police officer will not face appeal on a sexual assault acquittal.

Staff Sgt. Ken Price was found not guilty to four counts of sexual assault in July.

Justice Jennifer Myers said in her decision it was “highly likely” Price sexually harassed the complainant, but a lack of eyewitnesses and “frailties” in the woman’s evidence led the judge to acquit.

The Ministry of the Attorney General confirmed Friday they do not intend to launch an appeal of the decision.
