Windsor police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect after a man was stabbed in a robbery on Friday evening. Police say that just after 9:00 p.m. officers responded to reports of an assault in an alley in the 400 block of Louis Avenue. First responders located the victim with multiple stab wounds, they were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation resulted in the conclusion that the victim was approached in an alley with a male acquaintance, took a large amount of money from him, and stabbed him multiple times when he tried to top them. The suspect is described as a white man age 18-25, approximately 5′8″ tall with a medium build and blonde or light brown curly hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black tracksuit and yellow Adidas shoes. He may go by the name “Ty.” He is wanted on charges of robbery, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
