Windsor considering second Meadowbrook affordable housing phase

In his State of the City address, Mayor Drew Dilkens said the city is working to build a second phase of the Meadowbrook affordable housing model.

The City of Windsor is considering a second phase of its Meadowbrook Affordable Housing Model.

On Wednesday during the state of the city speech, Mayor Drew Dilkens mentioned that the city is working towards a bigger development, called Meadowbrook 2.0.

The first project saw 145 affordable housing units created. The next one is expected to create even more.

City officials say they are working to align federal funding to make it possible, but it is in its early stages.
