Three firearms seized at Windsor‑Detroit Tunnel, U.S. border agency says

More firearms have been seized at the Windsor‑Detroit Tunnel.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Detroit Field Office says three guns were seized at the border crossing on Feb. 28 from travellers heading into Canada.

According to CBP, a U.S. citizen was issued a violation notice and ordered to appear in federal court for possession of a firearm in a federal facility.

CBP has not released further details about the seizures.
