A suspect is wanted by the Windsor Police Service in connection with a $100,000 identity theft investigation. Police said in July, it received a report of fraud and identity theft. The suspect allegedly opened a fraudulent bank account in the victim’s name in June, incurring a debt of $101,315. The suspect is described as an East Indian man with tattoos on the right side of his neck and back of his left hand. He was seen wearing a scarf or mask over the bottom portion of his face, officers said. He is wanted for fraud over $5,000, identity fraud, identity theft, possession of a credit card obtained by an offence, unauthorized use of credit card data, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
