Suspect image released in theft of cell phone

Windsor police have released this surveillance image of a male sought in connection with a cell phone theft at the Telus location at 4115 Walker Road on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014.

Windsor police are asking for the public's help to identify a male suspect sought in connection with the theft of a cell phone.

Officers were called to the Telus store at 4115 Walker Road shortly before 1 p.m. on Jan. 30 after a reported theft.

An investigation found a male suspect had allegedly entered the store the day before around 2 p.m. and stolen a silver iPhone from a display case.

An image of the suspect captured on video surveillance has been released by police.
