Sunshine dominates for days before chance of showers by midweek

Sunny skies take up much of this week’s forecast, with cool but around seasonal temperatures expected.

Mainly sunny conditions arrive Sunday morning with a high hitting 13 degrees. By nightfall, some fog will be developing as we cool down to a low of plus 1 with patchy frost.

Monday and Tuesday will be quite similar, with sunny conditions and a high of 12 and 11 degrees, respectively.

Our next chance for showers will be Wednesday.

Here’s a look at the rest of the forecast:

Sunday: Sunny. Fog patches dissipating in the morning. Wind northeast 20 km/h. High 13. UV index 3 or moderate.

Sunday night: Clear. Fog patches developing after midnight. Wind northeast 20 km/h becoming light in the evening. Low plus 1 with patchy frost.

Monday: Sunny. High 12.

Tuesday: Sunny. High 11.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 11.

Thursday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 11.
