The Windsor Spitfires earned their first win of the season Saturday night, beating the Saginaw Spirit 6-3 on the road. Anthony Cristoforo scored a hat-trick to lead the Spitfires offensively. Caden Harvey added two goals, while Beksultan Makysh chipped in with the insurance marker. The Spitfires are back in action Thursday Oct. 1 when the North Bay Battalion visit the WFCU Centre. Puck-drop is set for 7:05 p.m., with the AM800 pre-game show with Steve Bell underway at 6:50 p.m. on AM800.
