Point Pelee National Park hosts events for butterfly migration

Migration Madness is underway at Point Pelee National Park.

The annual fall event celebrates the migration of monarch butterflies heading south to Mexico.

Visitors can take part in hands-on activities, crafts and story time at the visitor centre, plus an evening butterfly count and shuttle rides to the tip to see the spectacle up close.

The migration continues over the coming weeks, with each day offering a new chance to witness thousands of monarchs gather before their long journey.
