Edmonton police are looking to identify the last member of a group who attacked a man near Whyte Avenue and 108 Street one July evening. The 36-year-old victim was hospitalized after the July 4 assault but has since been released. Six other adults have already been arrested. The outstanding attacker is believed to be a young man with a medium build and short or medium length black hair. He also has “large, dark” tattoos on his left forearm and bicep, which are visible in one of two photos investigators published on Thursday. Investigators say he frequents the University of Alberta and Whyte Avenue areas. CTV News Edmonton asked police if the attackers and victim knew other, and they said they could not say right now.
